Fall

Here we are after a tasting of Sicilian wines on our tour in 2006.

Sicily: An Island Of Wine, History & Food
October 14-October 22, 2009
$3399 • Alumni $3299 • Single Supplement $450

Sicily is perhaps Italy's most fascinating wine destination. No one needs to defend its wines anymore: constant improvements and investment have long ago placed Sicily in the avant-garde of the renaissance of Southern Italian wines.

Add to that the incomparable beauty of its Greek ruins; its sumptuous local cuisine and the warm welcome of its inhabitants, and you have all the ingredients for a wonderful visit.

As we travel almost the entire southern circumference on our way from Palermo to Taormina, we'll marvel at its Greek temples and its delicious wines made from indigenous as well as international varieties.

October is a great time to enjoy what Sicily has to offer and when we leave on October 22, you'll definitely want to return.
