Vin has done truffle tours before, but what makes this tour unique is going during the height of ItalyÕs truffle season and visiting the 3 top producing areas for truffles: Piedmont, Marche and Umbria.
WeÕll be able to visit the 3 respective epicenters of Alba, Acqualagna and Gubbio during the excitement of their truffle fairs. WeÕll experience what itÕs like to hunt for truffles ourselves and weÕll enjoy multi course meals featuring truffles.
And itÕs no small coincidence that all 3 regions are also famous for their wines, so weÕll be sure to have some memorable VIP visits to some of the top wineries of each region.
Our tour will start and end in ItalyÕs two largest cities, facilitating air connections from anywhere in the States. This will be a unique experience and when the tour ends on Sunday November 4, although you canÕt bring home fresh truffles, you can bring home many cherished memories-and perhaps some bottles of truffle oil.
